My name is Ryan Reed. I am a Graduate Student in the Creative Writing MFA program at the University of Missouri Kansas City. I am a former customer service manager at the Kansas City Public Library and current library substitute. I have no idea what I am doing.
I have been looking for a minimalist platform to write for awhile now. Originally, I liked Bear Blog. There were just too many quirks that I could not figure out to make it what I wanted it to be. I am hoping that it is different here. I heard about Write.as on Mastodon and decided that 2023 would be a good test drive.
